Luminos hoops are powered by glow sticks, providing an alternative way to glow hoop at home, at a party
and even festivals. I came about the idea after deciding I did not want to take an LED hoop to Bonnaroo --
theft, damage, sudden storms -- don't want anything to happen to my LED hoop. Even Merlin of PSI Hoops
has used glow stick hoops (not mine) and advises on his website that glow stick hoops are a great option.
Each one is handmade by me using one of three psi-ratings of translucent white tubing (105, 123 or 195), a push-
button release connector system and decorative gaff and specialty tapes. These are very light and
flexible but handle breaks and reversals very well. The 7/8" tubing can hold up to 3 rows of long
necklace glow sticks inside of it, making for an extremely bright hoop if all of the sticks are glowing. The more glow sticks in the hoop, the more it weighs but it still
stays lightweight! Depending on the longevity of the glow, you could glow hoop for 4, 6, maybe even 8
hours if you have extremely long-lasting sticks. And, with the different ways I can tape it, your hoop can still
have brightly colored trails from the glow!
Each hoop can be custom-made or a surprise, which ever you choose. Just specify the diameter (outside edge
to outside edge), which white tubing and if you want any specific tape colors. Remember, just like an LED hoop, this will not have
a lot of tape on it and will have an inner lining of gaff tape for grippiness.
Each hoop is $30 and shipping will generally be under $10 but will be able to give a specific shipping based
on your location and if you want insurance as it will be shipped USPS in bubble wrap and I don't want to

**For the time being until I can make a super secure (as in, won't open up in the shipping process) and non-expensive way of shipping the hoop *and* glowsticks, I will not be able to send out glowsticks with the hoop as originally thought. However, I do know of several great sources to get glow sticks in 50- and 100-count and sometimes larger orders: Glow R Us and eBay search for 'glowsticks'. I'm so sorry and if this changes I will update the listings!**
