I've been practicing aerial silks for almost a year now and I would really like to seek this as a profession. I've been taking classes at Quixotic Fusion in Kansas City, but they do not currently offer a full-time/internship like program.
What reputable circus schools are out there (in the US and outside) that offer silks, lyra, and contortion?
I already know of Circomedia in Bristol, UK. (This is the school I am most interested in.), Pendulum in Portland, OR, The New England Center for Circus Arts, and the NY Circus Academy.
Any other suggestions or advice? I'm currently studying at a local community college and will wrap up in the Spring of 2013.
