I think all tricks are good for beginners. Isos, vortex, leg, and shoulder hooping are like the basic's for all tricks.

With a hoop that large on body tricks are the best to start with. Then trying off body tricks like weaves, iso etc. Behind the back and vertical on body may be a little hard for you depending on how tall you are.

The first things I learned were the front and back lifts followed by dropping the hoop back onto the body.  I learned how to pass the hoop around my body as well but I don't know what that is called.  Still, I would work on getting really good at on body hooping (Chest, waist, and shoulder hooping) and doing it in reverse current while you're still learning so that you're not like me.  Three years in and I'm going back to the beginning to learn chest hooping and reverse current.

Thanks to everyone!

I stand at about 5'4", so, sometimes I feel my hoop is too big for some tricks.

I'll definitely be looking all of these up and practicing!
