Besides hooping I love to make shoes! :)  I make custom fit shoes for children (Happy Feet) and recently have been making shoes for myself :) I use a lot of (clean) salvaged materials for my shoes, left over leather scraps from upholstery shops & discontinued upholstery samples and materials that would have been thrown away.  I'm in the process of trying used inner-tubes (bike tire and tractor tire inner-tubes) for the soles of my children's shoes offering a more environmentally friendly shoe :) I love to be barefoot and to me soft-soled shoes are the next best thing!   besides shoes I also make clothing for myself and kids :) I also love canning & baking   (I bake fresh bread about every other day lol my kids hate store bought now and it's so much cheaper and better to make it!),  I love gardening and composting :),  I love camping and hiking as much as we can in the spring and fall! 

There are soo many awesome talents here on hoopcity besides hooping!! Ya'll are great :)

I play piano, the djembe,spin fire poi/staff, paint, draw, do ceramics, braid hemp, make my own clothes, snowboard, take people's senior/wedding/couple/nature photos, manipulate photos, and I'm a full time in home nurse/caregiver....needless to say i live a busy life. But I love it :)

For active hobbies I have been learning Aerial silks for the past year and a half and love it, as for other hobbies, I spin yarn, dye yarn, knit and crochet, and i'm just this summer gotten in to sewing and making my own festival and hooping clothes.

I do a lot of things, I think my life is made up of hobbies (which I make money from mostly haha)

As well as hoop I also spin staff, fans and can fire eat. I'm in a burlesque troupe and I also play the guitar, piano and ukulele and write, sing and compose my own music. I write creatively, both poetry and prose and I also do photography and art (drawing, painting etc). I'm also a magician's assistant! And I'm looking to get into more magic that way; at the moment I've only got two acts with him which is a subtrunk illusion and guillotine but we're hoping to do more.
