Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any other talents/hobbies besides hooping?  Culinary, art, singing, sewing, instruments, sports, dance, poi, burlesque, anything?  If you have any pictures please post them I'm very interested to see what else hoopers are into :)

My other love is drawing, I do charcoal portraits.  Also I do a lot of trippy doodling, geometric patterns.  My gallery is here (on the left it says 'browse gallery'): http://ohkeity.deviantart.com/

I also love to cook but nothing worth showcasing :P  I also love video editing and writing!

What about you guys??

I'm a serial crafter: sewing, spinning yarn, knitting, crochet, Zentangle, wire/bead jewelry, photography, and making outfits for my growing collections of 16" fashion and Asian Ball Jointed dolls, reading (although, really, where's the time?), movies and my favorite viewing: Korean Drama.

I collect vintage My Little Ponies :)

I have a line of hair fascinators and jewelry on etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/JessabellsJewels and I also sing and hoop in a vaudeville troup called Professor Whiskey's Traveling Bizarre Bazzar. Professorwhiskey.com or you can find us on facebook. I am also a mother of 3 kids from 6 months to 6 years old and already see how what I do has helped them learn so much already. My 6 year old even placed 3rd in her school talent show for her hoop dance performance:)

Those are amazing pieces.  I'm so addicted to etsy!  :-)

wow your art is amazing..so lifelike.  I'm also a musician/songwriter www.animegirlbeatpoet.com

i practice poi as well...would love to get into pretty much all fire arts too and contorting

I also spin flags, why I think hooping clicks with me. I grow veggies, cook constantly, and write poetry and erotic fiction as well as blog often. HTTP://www.merryquitecontrary.blogspot.com
I'm also a fan of random doodling...and love making collages onto more interesting surfaces...made a great clock...just needs a few finishing touches. But hooping is for sure my only really physical activity...(:

I published a novel and I'm working on six more all together. My four-book contemporary series starts with Chantal's Call, the one I published at the end of March. The fantasy series I mentioned in my latest journal post is a three-book series about a girl who steps into an alternate dimension thanks to an enchanted hoop.

When I'm not writing, I like to make jewelry, crochet, and shoot nature photos.

I like to do graphic design, go hunting for edible mushrooms, and yoga. I would really like to learn pole dancing and aerial silks.

Your art is awesome! :)
I sculpt, draw, write, and do a little bit of yoga here and there.
I'm currently working on an outline for a novel to write in November for NaNoWriMo :D (if you don't know what that is and you're a writer, check it out! www.nanowrimo.com)

Cool, Corie!  If you haven't found us yet, we have a group for hooping writers. We haven't been very active lately, but you're welcome to join us. :)
