So, Ive been searching for different colors of 1/4" spike tape, and I stumbled on this tape website called "Tape Brothers." Some of their stuff, like spike tape and the 1" vinyl tape are cheaper than my usual source, which is HTC. Some of their stuff is more expensive like their glow tapes and mirror/sparkley tapes... Has anyone ever used them before? I am considering ordering my spike and vinyl from them but I'd like to hear any feedback beforehand :)

go to goodbuyguys.com they are way cheaper than tape brothers

Permalink Reply by Sairz ward on July 1, 2012 at 7:53am I love Tape Brothers! They're a local business for me here in Central Florida. I've been to their warehouse and the staff are so freaking friendly and helpful. One took me on a tour so I could actually interact with the tapes and stuff. Their selection of mylar tapes rock because they're shiney, light weight and pretty easy to use on hoops. Their Gaff tapes are great too. Holographics like the silver bubble tape are a little unforgiving because they have a paper backing you have to peel while taping the hoop-- my cats LOVE it! Their customer support and commitment to great service is what keeps me coming back, that and their low prices. Oh and you can easily find like 20% off coupon codes all over the internet for them.
Tapes I love from Tape Brothers include:
Mylar: http://www.tapebrothers.com/Mylar-Tapes-s/298.htm
The Holographics are thicker and have a paper backing that you'll need to pull, but they're pretty pretty and completely worth it IMO http://www.tapebrothers.com/Tape-Brothers-Premium-Holographic-Spark...
I enjoy the 1/2" gaf tape: http://www.tapebrothers.com/1-2-Gaffers-Spike-Tape-s/412.htm
I HATED the glow in the dark tape.
For the uber decorative tapes, I wind up over at Identitape, but they're kind of pricey.
Permalink Reply by Hillary on July 1, 2012 at 6:54pm I love Tape Bros! Good to see some of the other responses here tho. I tend to support Tape Bros, b/c the're also pretty local for me, and I always try to love my locals first. Be careful ordering in summer time tho, cuz sometimes your tape is a bit sticky! ;-)
Permalink Reply by Fera Crayonz on February 28, 2013 at 11:11am I ordered some tapes from tape brothers.. the gaffer is somehow grippier than pro gaff but it just peels off really easily. i also bought a roll of mirror tape, so far it's ok c: it has no paper backing and it's quite thin but i've had no real problem with that one.
