I use the built in i-sight camera on my macbook to record videos via imovie.
However, recently it seems to be recording video in a jumpy way, like the frame rate has changed and it's missing out frames. I can't see any reason why it might be doing this. I'm wondering whether it might be because my hard drive is becoming more full.
I can't seem to find any other programs where I can import from the built in camera as well.

Any shared knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

Yes. If your hard drive is full this can effect your ram (working memory).

Try either deleting some things or buying an external hard drive to store some of your files that you want to keep but don't need on a regular basis.

Thanks SaFire... I already have an external hard drive that I put everything on except Apps and itunes (although I DO have a lot of music now...)
Thought you might be interested to hear I think I solved the problem, it seems that the recording stopped 'jumping' when my laptop was plugged into the mains... I have no idea why it might do this but it seemed to do the trick!
I will definitely check out the blog though, right away!
