So, I hope I'm not starting a forum that ha already been started but I searched. I have an stomic hoop which I LOVE! But I have been wanting to upgrade to a Polypro and I can't decide between an atomic pro with 120 modes or a hoop daddy Phoenix.

I like that it has a remote and I can change the patterns on my computer.

Any suggestions or input? Which has more mode options or better tubing, durability??

Hey I dont own either hoop but from what i have heard astraloops has bad customer service and makes you pay for repairs even if it is something that they messed up like the wiring breaks because of faulty construction, that info came from a friend of mine, astral hoops are also way more expensive than hoop daddy's phoenix, but hoop daddy got so backed up with orders they put on their site that they were temporarily not excepting new orders because they had so any to fill. If it was me its hands down a hoop daddy Phoenix if i had the money that would be my hoop, right now I have and electric lifestylz ecobreeze that is 50 bucks super bright and does what I need for now, but one days I want a hoop daddy hoop. Electriclifestylz also sells on amazon and they have the best customer service and warranty if you call them they call you back and they are so nice and priced very low, they are the most affordable hoopby far, and they do custom hoops too, sorry to get off topic but they are coolpeoples. Hope I helped!

What you've said about Astral is untrue! While some might have had a bad experience, I have not. Please hear the other side of Astral, before making a decision. I'd had my Atomic hoop for 3 months last August when it stopped working. My last festival of the year was 2 weeks away. Astral worked so quickly to get the hoop fixed and sent it overnight back to me (no extra charge). Why did my hoop stop working after 3 months? They said I had water damage. My hoop had been in the trunk when a cooler leaked. I didn't think it got wet but I guess it did. This damage should not have been covered under warranty but Astral fixed my hoop and replaced the tubing (there was a small kink where the switch was) FREE OF CHARGE!

I have not had any trouble with my hoop since then and am getting ready to send it back to get the expansion pack. It is well made and very light. I use it more than my PSI.

I'm going to agree with you 100%!! I have three amazing hoops from Bj and Steph, and they have been nothin but amazing to me! Even over nighted my Pro to me when I told them I needed it for a performance and since i do alot of referrals for them they did it with no hesitation. Now the hoop daddy hoop does look amazing!!! But I'm a Atomic Pro girl!! But I am excited to see this new Proton Hoop, very close to my home town also!
I have the atomic as well. I don't have anything negative to say about the customer service but I also don't have anything super positive. It took me way longer to get my hoop when I ordered it (it was when they first came out so it had a long eating list) however, it was about a week longer than they said it would be even though I asked if I could have it by a certain date for a festival I was going to. I didn't get it for that festival:( I can't hate on them for that because it was a first come first serve basis but I don't think their customer service was amazing. If was decent.
*waiting list

I've managed to keep this project quiet for quite some time but I officially began telling friends of friends a couple weeks ago and I am just posting about this to the public for the first time today.  To you, as a matter of fact...

I've had an LED hoop under development for a while now that I think you should check out.  It's finally ready for the big time and has features that blow away both the Phoenix and Atomic Pro.  I'm planning a full launch on March 1st with shipments beginning on April 2nd.  Similarities include the availability of 3/4" PolyPro, 3/4" HDPE, or 7/8" HDPE, lithium batteries, etc.

Where things get really wild is this is the first hoop ever to feature a custom FREE software application for creating and modifying your own presets.  It allows you to dial in any color from the millions it's capable of displaying (Atomic and Atomic Pro are both only capable of 16 colors).  It allows you to adjust the speed of every aspect of the mode such as strobe speed, rotation speed, etc.  It has 3 different random mode options and comes with a full year warranty and no questions asked 14 day money back guarantee.

I'll be posting more information on the FaceBook page this weekend because the only video up is many months old and there are massive improvements to some insane patterns since then.  Ordering will be available in 1-2 weeks.

I'm very interesting in seeing it!!! Please let me know when you post a video! :)
How many mades does it have? Does it have a joystick or a remote device?
What is the price range?
I'm very interested and I want to get a polypro led hoop sometime over the next few months!
I'm very excited to see it! Thanks for the info!!!
Hey I'm sorry I should not have put astral hoops on blast like that, I was just going off what an aquantance of mine had said, her hoop kept getting stuck on one mode and she said ast, sorry ral charge her 40 dollars to fix it, maybe she is just a crazy biatch and didn't tell me the whole story, I know she is crazy and she is kinda a bitch so i should have considered the source, sorry.

The hoop ships with 256 different patterns, all of which can be customized with the FREE custom software especially for your hoop.  You can change the color, speed, size, brightness, etc of every single preset for infinite possibilities.

The hoop navigation is very simple via 2 buttons and all of my test users *all* say it is much easier and more reliable than the fragile joystick other hoops use.  If you do some research you'll see the joystick has been one of the larger sources of reliability problems in current hoop designs.

With regard to price, the first 100 orders can expect to see a price actually *lower* than the Atomic Pro!

Also, Craig if you could contact me by email i would love to talk to you more about youre hoop. Thanks so much!klly_jensen@hotmail.com

Wow this hoop sounds awesome :) Is the software that comes with the hoop Mac compatible?

I am super interested in this proton hoop ur making but I am not on Facebook. is there a site besides there that I can go to?
