I was just wondering if there are any other people having this problem. I haven't had my wicks for over 6 months and they are breaking. The steel cables are breaking in half at the bottom, once one wire breaks it all starts to break off within a couple of days. I was wondering if anyone has found a way to fix the broken cables.I have a fire show this Saturday and I'm in need of a solution.

I bought my wicks before hoop drum merged with cosmic hooper so they wont warranty my wicks :(.

On a side note if anyone has quick wicks they are thinking of selling I would love to buy them from you.

hope this helps

I tried but it just slips out the second I spin, if I can as lest save the wick it's self maybe I can do something with that. I have two other wicks that are breaking like this so maybe I can make something crazy with them, I can't hoop with them at all like this. I'm really bummed out by this. I hope the next ones I buy don't break apart after a couple of months...

This is really going to suck to have to cancel a show ... on top of needing to spend more money on wicks grrr

i'll have to try that, i just need a quick fix for Saturday then i'll buy more.

is the metal epoxy a red glue, I think I have some in my shop.

Awww! I wish I could help. I hope you can find a solution and go on with the show!
I'm thinking i'll just do a little surgery with my broken wicks and just permanently attach them to my hoop some how. I don't feel comfortable with just using epoxy to hold it on, I spin pretty fast and I'd be horrified if it went flying off, there will be a lot of people at the event I'm going to.
