I need an expert's opinion! I am purchasing my first LED but I am unsure of the size I should get. I'm pretty good, right now I am hooping with a 125 psi 36" hoop.

Sometimes, it feels clunky.

I am wondering if I should do a 36" 16 oz or a 33" 12.5 oz

I want to make the right investment! I'm a definite newbie so the more help would be incredible!

if u are comfortable with your 36" then u should totally move down to a 34 or 33" simply because u are trying to make an investment for the long run. it might seem uncomfortable but u settle into a new smaller size pretty easily as long as ur already comfortable in a larger size...for example the better u get at hooping (which happens quicker than u think) u will find urself wanting a smaller diameter hoop for less weight or faster moves maybe.... plus u will be eliminating having to buy a smaller sized LED  in the very near future!, rather than buying another 36", u will be prepared for the transition to a smaller one...therforeee...  keeping your LED hoop in good condition is important if ur not planning to buy another one anytime soon.... so i suggest ALSO making or getting a dayhoop in a smaller size to prepare yourself for smaller hooping.. ( preferrably the same size u choose order your LED, or maybe even smaller if ur trying to be 2 steps ahead of urself.

I have some readymade day hoops here, &&also we do custom orders in many colors and patterns....in case u decide to learn a smaller hoop size, they take a good beating when practicing new hoop skills..which means less of a beating on ur pretty new LED hoop!!! : )

Thank  you so much! and yeah that's where I was looking, their prices are unbelievable compared to everyone else. I have one more question, how much does my hoop weigh you think? The 125 psi 36" I don't have a scale lol

i have no ideaaa depends on how much tape u have on your hoop and also HDPE is different than PSI tubing so its hard to tell sometimes what weight and size will match the best with what your used to...all i know, is that if u order your LED in a 7/8 inch HDPE tubing it will be larger and heavier than what u have now.  i was uncomfortable with how heavy moodhoops 7/8 inch tubing was..so i returned it for a 3/4 hdpe,& this size is a little bit bigger, heavier tubing than the regular 1/2 inch 125 PSI (what u have now).. 5/8 hdpe is skinny, & lighter but still has good weight to it. If ur considering preparing for the near-future transitions to lighter/faster/smaller hoops(it happens faster than u think!!) thenn i suggest 5/8, but if u want to stay more in your comfort zone, 3/4 is a good size for what your working with currently, in short, 5/8 is a good long term investment, 3/4 is a good comfort hoop.

u hoop should prolly weigh less than 3 pounds im guessing...i could be way off though, so dont quote me. sorry! lol

Gah I'm so nervous, I know eventually I will be used to the size. I'm so excited! I can't decide on which hoop! It's either Prism, Ember or Blaze

Go with the smaller! I bought my first LED a few years ago and quickly grew out of it, now it just sits there all sad and lonely while i play with my awesome new Cosmic Hoop! It will take a little getting used to, but its totes worth it : )

agreeed! well dont be nervous!!! blaze is beautiful, && alot of people have it. prism is very nice, almost like the spectrum, which i love. and idk much about the ember but i know its also very pretty! just make sure u pick one that matches ur personality, after all u know urself the best....u wont regret it :)
