I just got my Canadian citizenship this year too!  Actually, the day I got the paperwork in the mail, I went and made a super patriotic hoop with Canada-flag themed hockey tape, lol. Me and my Canada hoop will probably also be at a free concert :)

If the weather is nice, I'll be going down to the Inclusive arts jam at our Legislative grounds in Edmonton. Tons of spinners, drummers, jugglers and random fun happy people convene every Sunday there. This weekend, I suppose we'll just be amongst lots of other Canada day revellers. 

I also plan to head out to a couple parties to watch fireworks. I'm sure there will be spinning involved :D

Congratulations on your citizenship!!!  =D  

This will be a quiet Canada Day for our family... normally we head to the big party our city puts on and eat ourselves sick.  However, my oldest has caught the chicken pox and he has to be secluded until Tuesday.  Poor Dude.  I may try and get his younger brother out for a bit (or maybe my partner will do it) but it won't be the same.

im a little late to comment, but i just discovered hockey tape at sportcheck with red maple leaves on it! it was totally made for canada day hoops, just a heads up :)

I didn't really "celebrate". I has a gig on Canada Day.  I did two kids hoop shows and then some LED stuff at night before the fire works.  It was a great night though because I got to hang out with the other entertainers afterwards at the hotel and talk shop. ; )
