i need some advice. i found a veryyy inexpensive hoop in the perfect color scheme but i havent heard anything about this seller(hyperionhoops) so i havent wanted to purchase it until i could talk to the seller. i am starting to get impatient, though, because i want the hoop for july 15th and i have tried contacting him on several places and almost want to settle for another hoop(either from moodhoops or trick concepts) even though they are slightly more expensive and not really the colors i want. anyways. i was wondering if anyone had any advice for what i should do.

check for customer reviews. if there aren't any, i'd stay away til there's more info available online. moodhoops are supercool in person, but youre right, not customizable. you could also try lighted lifestyle / hoops of creation / cosmic hoops for some customizable, moderately priced hoops.
i'm looking at hoops of creation atm and i'm thinking about buying one from here instead of waiting for hyperion hoops to reply. thank you for sharing this site!
cosmichooper.com has some really pretty ones. i got mine from there and it is super bright with a really good charge life and he is really great in the customer service aspect
Love my Cosmic Hooper hoop. Not bad pricing for custom hoops and Rob is great at providing good service, even though he's a really busy guy.

i ordered from  hyperion hoops; he took a while to get back to me, but he is legit.  though i am having a slight issue with my hoop right now, i am confident it is fixable. the hoop is very bright and reasonably well-made. i only say reasonably because right now i'm having some kind of problem with what seems like a connection, but it could be my battery. i haven't had any problems with it until tonight, so i just wrote him for advice.

i think the better part of july he's probably out at festivals and thus is slower; it's a busy time for hoopmakers, too, so in that case, be patient. if everything goes smoothly with whatever the problem is with my hoop, i'd be happy to buy from him again.

just a follow-up - i had a return email within 15min of notifying him by email, which was pretty great. i don't know that he can always provide that, but i'm impressed. he had very explicit instructions on what things may cause a problem and if those things didn't fix it, then i could send it back (which i'm trying to avoid if possible)

i actually ended up buying from him and i couldnt be happier with it. my only issue was a little bit of a lack of communication but he got my hoop to me in time for a festival i ended up not going to and he gave me the charger and battery for half price. and like you said, he was probably very busy with festivals and several orders. my hoop is absolutely wonderful though. i would definitely recommend hyperionhoops.

just as an fyi, the problem i was having with the hoop was not at all on hyperion's side. it was a faulty battery.

i really love my hoop. it's unbelievably bright. which one did you get? i'll definitely buy from him again.

Cosmic Hooper is the best for the money!
moodhoops :) all the way

I got a LED from kevin turner and it was broken when it got to me. I sent him and emial and he replyed once on how to maybe fix it and it did not work. after that he has not gotten back to me. now his site is down and I have no one to talk to about the $90 i spent. I'm just lucky I didnt buy one of the more expenceive ones. Anyone help?
