thats awesome - see my problem is that i have no clue what I want. last year he got me a diamond necklace, and had it all picked out but still asked me what I wanted everyday, it was a complete surprise. this year we are doing a smaller christmas, and I can't think of anything I want :(

Nothing as I no longer do Christmas or birthdays. I have everything I need and Im a minimalist so gifts given to me are sort of pointless consumerism really.

Have you considered doing something like this, its a really nice idea and great cause?

Otherwise I think one of the best surprise gifts I ever received was a very generous gift certificate for a salon that do massage and reflexology etc (-:

haha I can NEVER think of something that I want when someone asks me.

 

Usually I have gotten clothes, accessories, stuff like that from ex boyfriends, but I think the sweetest thing a guy did for me was cook a meal for our 1 year anniversary. :P

I am in a long distance relationship limbo right now...I just keep asking him to come for New Years. hehe
