So I've been having really vivid dreams lately, most are nonsense but the one I had the other night was amazing! It was this hoop, it was made with clear tubing that was slightly flexible, so I would be able to make it collapsible in a figure 8 style.
The best part about this hoop, in my dream, was what was INSIDE it! Does anyone know those large bouncy balls that have liquid inside with sparkles and when you bounce it all the sparkles and liquid mix up and look really sweet?
They look like this: http://www.thegadgetshop.co.za/pics/user_files/Image/Toy/glitter_ba...
Well that kind of substance was inside this hoop, similar to a water hoop. I don't know if this is possible to make, but I would like to try for sure! If anyone has any ideas on this project or ideas for what kind of materials I could use it would be awesome to get your input!
Thanks!
Permalink Reply by Daniela VI on December 15, 2010 at 2:04pm I also had this idea! I dont know if the polypro tubbing is as clear as it should be for all the glitter to sparkle and twinkle enough but perhaps using a bit of baby oil instead of water will help because its more dense and moves slowly. And in order to make it collapsible I was think about first sealing the hoop with a silicone gun and then inserting the connectors.
Not sure it will work but I must try it someday! :)

I hate this tubing for a full size hoop. Yes, it collapse but it just hoops weird. For minis it is perfect.
