Hi,
I bought 2 in May after looking around for a decent price and I was really disappointed. One of the batteries went out and ceased to work an hour after use. Then the battery on the second hoop went out 3 days afterwards. Both hoops rattle badly and on one of the hoops 3 of the light went out . I emailed the guy he sent me out a replacement which arrived nearly a month later and the it stopped working 4 days later. Seems like the battery port on the hoop itself is now broken. So three hoops all not working with battery or light problems.I should have demanded my money back... but live and learn. Do not buy from this guy. He is nice and his prices are great but his quality and workmanship are really bad. Spend a little bit more from a reputable and quality company. That way you will not not 3 dead hoops in your pile!

don't buy it

You sure arent very supportive for someone that just entered the contest and won one. :(

did'nt know the quality till after i won the hoop. ended up giving it away to someone else.

Check out MoodHoops. :) They've got some really nice hoops at decent prices.

I second Moodhoops. You may end up paying a bit more but I think it's worth it. I just got my hoop from them a week ago and love it! They are really quick to respond to answer questions and to process my order.  I put my order in for my hoop Friday morning, it had shipped by Noon and was at my doorstep Monday afternoon (From Fl to Co). The hoop that I got is the 5/8" HDPE. It came standard with 2 rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries and a charging dock. There is grip tape on the inside. One thing to keep in mind is that the connection piece is larger in diameter than the rest of the hoop, but it's only a 4 inch section so it's really not a big deal (in fact, other hoops may come like this, but I may not be aware of it.) The colors are really beautiful and really bright! Good luck!

I'm sure you'll LOVE your mood hoop!

I have had mine since early January and it's definitely taken a beating! Everything still works.  The batteries hold a long charge. Super bright colors.

They are built to last.

Thank you so much guys! You've been such a huge help :]

I have one and i love it! I have no flickering and it doesnt rattle unless you take the battery out which i do cause people will just pick up your hoop and try to mess around with it. My battery life lasts all night.

And customer service for me was great i wanted poly after buying the regular and he exchanged it for free no extra charge. Mines really bright and i always get compliments. not bad for a first LED hoop

I bought one from them on January 31st, 2013 for my  friend's birthday.  After my purchase I read all the reviews for them.......  I got really nervous about my purchase.

But I must say  this:

The communication was fantastic, Dane emailed me back and forth and was super nice and helpful. I asked him how much extra it would cost for them to wrap it with grip tape, and he said they would gladly do that for free in the color of my choice and they even offered to change the solid light to strobing for me at no extra cost.

I received the hoop on February 6th, 2013, 6 days after placing the order.

Everything works great, and it is super pretty (and it camed wrapped in grip tape as asked).  They say that it was made of HDPE tubing, but it is much thinner and lighter than the LED hoop that I own from another company.  I like the lighter tubing and the lights were packaged well and do not rattle at all.

My only critique is that the closure seems like it is not done correctly , but I can deal with that. I don't mean that it feels like it will fall apart, I mean it has a larger piece of tubing that slides over the hoop, resulting in an unbalanced hoop.  I bought it for a friend who can barely hoop, so she wont know the difference.  Maybe if the hoop had some counter balance in it, or a connection with a smaller inserted tube, it would be better.

May be they have revamped their customer service and product???

My  transaction went super smoothly and I do like the hoop and I know my friend will LOVE it.

YES - I would reccomend Electric Lifestylez LED hoops to a beginner who is trying to save money.  But I still do believe you get what you pay for.

i love mine. I won a SuperNova in one of their facebook contests a few months back. loved the hoop but unfortunately it quit working one day after about 2 months of use. that being said, the girl with customer service (Sydney) was so helpful. she admitted that there was a flaw in their previous hoop design and they replaced my hoop with a brand spankin new one with the new design for free. the new one has a different connection mechanism so it's the same style as moodhoops (one larger piece of tubing at the connector) which can make it feel a little unbalanced especially since my hoop is poly and is extremely extremely extremely lightweight. i think they're really trying to change up their image and make improvements to the company overall. but yeah i love my hoop from them

The only good thing about these hoops are that they are cheap... I don't recommend buying them at all tho because I purchased two... and one of them was delivered with LED lights dull or dead already... and then within a month my batteries no longer charged and it was all just a mess. don't do it!
