Sewing a fabric sleve for your hoop is a whole new hooping experience. :} I'm working on my sewing so I can start making more. I bought one fabric hoop from Waka this year and love it. Now,  I don't know about using strips and using glue water to wrap it around the hoop, I've seen it before but never used one or tried making one.

i used ribbon for mine and used the tape (duct tape for me use what you normally would) to wrap the ribbon around the hoop...it came out nice i need better tape though...it also helps with grip/weight :)
