I think it's a matter of style and choice. I wear them when the gig's theme allows. You have to be diverse. I would recommend wearing furries with fire hoops though, I couldn't imagine it would go well.

I kind of like the furry ones, but the ones without fuzzy fabric look odd to be. Either way I don't think I'd ever wear them haha. I just use regular leg warmers. I do not like the feeling of flowy fabric on my legs.

Well I think it's important to acknowledge the fact that hooping is quite popular in the EDM scene and with that scene comes the LOVE of dressing up. Burning man, raves, festivals, etc. They all have a style attached to them and everybody has a preference. Fluffies are style heavily associated with rave culture. They were actually invented in the 90s by ravers in the UK. They wanted to hide their shoes with something fun, soft, and UV reactive (don't ask me how I know that). I like fluffies and flared leg thingys(I don't know what else to call them), they're fun to dance in, they're soft, you can make them on your own and they can be made out of almost any material...they add something unique and more to your (sometimes skimpy ;) costume and the best part: you don't have to wear slippery leggings or tights because they balance out the outfit (if that makes sense).

I admire girls who can wear fluffies and make them look good, they look great and if i could pull them off i'd certainly be wearing them, unfortunately fluffies make me look like a hobbit lol
