So i plan on ordering my first Lyra this week, but slightly confused on what size I should get and what not?? Where did everyone purchase their first lyra and what do you recommend? Also, where is the best place to purchase a practice mat? Thanks, any tips would be appreciated :)

I chose my lyra size by lying down on my back and holding legs straight up (90 degrees angle). My friend checked, how much is it from the floor to the middle of my feet (feet "en pointe" :) ), so I could do safely things like

But you should think also what exactly do you want to do on it. Some positions are easier on smaller hoops, some on the bigger ones.
