I've been seeking out a lot of advice and places to turn where I can read and learn more.
My life took an unpleasant turn for a while and I lost sight of who I was and the foundation I built for my mind and spirit. My energies are all over the place and I'm trying to find a good base with hooping.
The only people that I can talk to about any of this is my boyfriend and his mother, but she lives in Peru and I have to wait until our trip to visit her where I will really have the chance to find myself again. She is becoming a San Pedro shaman over there and a Reiki master. I am waiting till I get to Peru to go through attunements and go on San Pedro journeys, to really be around the people i feel i need to be around.
But i have to wait until we head over there. But everyone on here has so much info that i am really interested in and would love to see what you have to say.
Any advice or reads would be great!:)

Healing Mantras: Using Sound Affirmations for Personal Power, Creativity, and Healing by Thomas Ashley-Ferrand
Do you have a mantra yet? I find that it helps me a lot to be able to start chanting in my head if my thoughts start to become too much... A Mala helps while chanting also... Mine broke a little while ago and I have yet to get another one, but once I do I'm going to wear it as a necklace so it can help remind me of what life is truly about when I start to loose sight through out my adventures
Healing Mandalas: 30 Inspiring Meditations to Soothe Your Mind, Body & Soul by Lisa Tenzin-Dolma... This book has really good pictures to look at while meditating, helps with letting go
Always remember even when you feel alone the universe has an infinite supply of good energy to send your way as long as you break down you're barriers. It can seem hard at times but that is only because we let it seem hard. If you think positive thoughts than more positive thoughts will come your way, if you think negative thoughts then more negative thoughts will come your way. Anything that you have ever desired can be yours as long as you believe that it has already happened and feel the way that you would feel when it does happen. :]

Ayurvedic Astrology: Self Healing Through the Stars by Dr. david Frowley
Prakriti: Your Ayurvedic Constitution by Dr. Robert Svoboda is a good book to have in order to know what is good to eat for your perticular Dosha and other things about living right in accordance with your dosha
I wish I could teleport some of my books over to you so you don't have to buy any of them because I'm not sure if libraries will have these haha

Long sessions, really push yourself physically.
Would probably be a good idea, to make sure you are in good physical condition before you get into san pedro. Purify, purify etc. :)
I'm so excited for you! maybe i'm a lil jealous too, I wish i was getting ready to go on a shamanic journey in Peru!
