I've seen it done with a collapsible-to-minis LED hoop from cosmic hooper at the last festival I went to.

after i read this last night i tried it with my cosmic sectionals. any idea how they were held together?

 

i pushed and twisted the pieces in opposite directions, but the push button is on the one side only. it looked pretty cool and is very tempting but i do not know if i would have the gall to  attempt to drill a hole so the push button would go the other way and damage my beautiful hoops. i wonder if i could push the ends of sections into a bigger piece of tubing. hmmm.

there are tutorials on how to make them on youtube. they do not look that hard.

I JUST came across videos the past week.  I sooo want to try it!!  They are pricey, but they are handmade in beautiful wood.  I would love to order a pair :-)

Oh wow!  I love seeing buugeng pop up in other places.  :D  I love my buugeng....obviously!   ^_^   Looking forward to really exploring more with them this summer.    Of course, Dai is working hard with them too.    I'll try to keep making videos as step it up to the next level.   <3 Buugeng <3
