I bought a polypro collapsable fire hoop from Holistic Hoops last year. During the fall while my boyfriend was playing with it he tossed it and missed and ended up bending the hoop by the spine connector on just on one section of the hoop. I have tried so many different things to correct it, I have tied it together to the other sections to reform it. I have put it in a vice to try to bend it out. NOTHING is working. I feel that the fire heated up the metal connector and bent that out of shape not just the plastic, so that is what need to be straightened out. I was wondering if anyone has any advice, or has this happened to anyone else?! I have a performance at the end of the month and I dont want my isolations to look warped because of the hoop. You can see the bend at the top.

maybe try holding very cafully over a heat source or a really hot blow drier or heat gun and trying to mold it back I have never fire hooped and I have not tried poly pro so i hope I'm not telling you anything that will F up you hoop i hope you find a solution try calling the company and see if they can help

I'm not sure if it will work for polypro, but here's a video on how to repair a kinked PE hoop.  Might not work if it's kinked right where your wick goes in.  If that doesn't work, I'm sure you can order a section replacement, which will be less expensive than ordering a whole new hoop.

Have you tried getting ahold of them and seeing if they'll fix it for you?
