Hi everyone!

I recently just got into spinning fire fans, and am wondering if anyone has seen any LED fans? TrickConcepts said they're working on a new model, but that it'd probably be a few months.

I'm not keen on waiting a few months, so if I can't find a pair elsewhere, I might just start making my own. Has anyone seen LED fans anywhere?

They're called zip ties.

Hi Sarah! <3

There is one prototype being made here in New Zealand by a guy. Apparently they'll be sound sensitive as well!

sound sensitive would be amazing. similar to those light up t-shirts that respond to sound, i assume.

Yes, supposedly how it works is there will be a setting that will make them flash to the beat of the music, and one that will make them glow brighter when raised, and dimmer when lowered.
just bumping this up to see if anyone has figured out how to make/buy a version of these. I have a gig coming up where a set would be useful...any new suggestions about what glowy things to use & how to attach?
Mine are half constructed. Used flowlights and zip ties. I'm not very impressed with the results, they're a little unstable. But they work.
I'm about to get some fan frames and some LED lightsticks from Home of Poi and experiment.

You have to make them yourself. the end. There is one group of fan dancers that do know how to make them but they refuse to give up their secret, and they live in japan. :\
