Ok, so maybe this is weird.  I first met Baxter almost a year ago (I think) at Hoop Down in Bend, Or.  And I didn't really know a whole lot about him up until that point.  But his class was SO GODDAMN POWERFUL, that I decided I wanted a Baxter-in-my-pocket for all of my practice sessions!  ....

However, I can't find ANYTHING (video, audio, etc) of Bax just talking the way he talks in his classes and workshops!  I have found a lot of videos where he talks about his hooping theories and philosophies, and I even bought his DVD hoping it would have some classroom footage, but alas.

Now, i understand that classes and workshops are something you pay big bucks to go to, but North Carolina is so far away!  I bet that if he made an audio CD of a class of his, that it would sell.  I have never been so motivated by the words of a teacher in a workshop ever, and I have taken a fair number of workshops.  He says these simple sentences that are so powerful and moving and he repeats them, to the music, until its really drilled in.

If anybody knows of a video of a a class taught by Baxter, I'd love to see it. :-)
