Were they vending at an event? (Couldn't find a clear place to make any purchases from their web site.) The hoops LOOK high quality and fine.... Is there anything different or special about it?

My boyfriend bought it at Wakarusa. They're pretty durable... But they fling open if you don't tape it. and the batteries are non rechargeable.

Yeah, they were at scamp; I bought a giant 5-footer with a great batik cloth cover from them. Don't know much about their LED hoops though.
