I am considering buying some very pretty tape for my hoop, which has been used naked for some time now. It is able to come apart and collapse and I was hoping to be able to continue to do that after the tape job. I am doing some holographic sections on it, not completely covering it. Would trying to collapse the hoop after taping it crack the tape job? I have seen pretty tapes crack before from trauma, but would bending it be traumatic enough?
