this is my first time going (am purchasing my ticket later) but i can see why it cost so much for hoop camp.

think about everything that goes into it.

food, drinks,renting the location, djs, drinks, people working there, etc.

hoopcamp is also full of workshops so i think that that alone makes up alot of the cost. i'm attending a workshop by a certain hooper and she charges 75$ for one day and 120$ for two days so imagine all the instructors that teach at hoopcamp and you have your price there. i could be wrong here but thats the way i look at it and predict its done.

Make sure yo buy your ticket soon, they sell out every year.

Im in LOoooove! I want to go... Although i wish it werent 2-3 weeks after Burning Man. I am saving up for it, any clue if/when it usually sells out?

 

Has anyone gone as a newer hooper? Ive been hooping for a while but am no where near pro and want to make sure Id be able to keep up. I love learning and LOVE hooping so i think i'd be fine, but I dont want to go in to shock when I get there :)
