Hey hoopers,

So it just occurred to me that we haven't had a thread on "Hoop Crushes" yet. You know what I mean. ; )

Who was your first Hoop Crush?
Who is your current Hoop Crush?
If you could put together a "Dream Team" who would they be? (2-4 hoopers)

My first hoop crush was definitely Anah A.K.A. Hoopalicious.
Now mine would be Rich Porter of Isopop. I was pretty keen on him after seeing this video but he really had me when he passed out diagrams at the Northwest Hoop Gathering. I like structure; what can I say, the guy's an architect and has a sweet technical way of thinking about the hoop.
Dream Team? hmmm... This ones a tough one for me. Maybe Brecken, SphongleHoops and Spiral all mashed together. That would be insane!

awwww! "I'm hoop-crushed." That's priceless David.
I have a crush on anyone that gives the hoop a try ;)
Spiral and Rich. Spiral was my first hoop crush. I love her dance, how her body flows, everything. She's also interested in a lot of the same things I am, like circus arts.
Rich was my second; one because he's a boy (WHO HOOPS?!) and because of his flowing technicality with the hoop.
And more recently, Ziggy. She is a total sweetheart and I can't wait to meet her in real life.
I have a lot of crushes. ;]
I have a hoop-crush on Ziggy too! She was among the 1st hoopers I saw perform, she turned me onto to youtube for tutorials, and has the wildest, beautiful hair.
Love her hair. It's gorgeous.
Ziggy! Def a hoop crush!!
I'm a huge fan of Spiral too. I've had people accidentally call me Spiral at Hoop retreats and it never bothers me in the least. Whether they actually think I'm Spiral or just say the wrong word I don't know really, but who could complain!
Most definitely a compliment! Although you have a graceful style very similar to hers that I yearn for too SaFire.
My hoop-crush would be SaFire. You look just like an elf when you hoop.
hehe, one of my ears has some extra skin so it like elf-ish. I used to get teased for it as a kid but now I like it. Funny how that works out hey. We get made fun of for being weird / different and as adults people love that we're weird / different.
Thanks for telling me that, my baby has one elf ears, I love that and I call him Spock. I'd hate it if he was shy or teased about it when he grows up, though.
Hee Hee My daughter'e ears must have been folded over in the womb because when she came out her ears were seriously pointy. Now she has her 'earth ears' but they still have little points, and... Her name is Fae! She's almost 3 and loves everything about herself!
