Hello all! Just a quick question about hoop downsizing. Currently I am on a 42 inch 3/4 100 psi. I have been hooping for a month now and would like to get a mood hoop for a festival I am going to at the end of the month. My dillema is that the smallest size down from a 42 is a 38, but I am worried that may be too small. I am wanting to go smaller, I think its time. When I do tricks they seem slow and become sloppy because the hoop is too big for me. I really want the mood hoop for the festival, but am worried that going down 4 inches will be too big of a jump. Can anyone give me any advice on this? Thanks!

awesome thank you!
I was doing the same thing using a 42 inch hoop then I ordered one from mood hoops nervous it would be too small... Well it was perfect! I ended cutting down all my others to 38 also.
perfect I'm so glad to hear that! I was hoping to order it within the best day & use it at a featival at the end of the month. How long did it take you to get your body and flow used to the new size?

if the 42" makes your tricks feel sloppy, then the 38" should be pretty natural.  i usually downsize in increments of 2 inches at a time and downsize once i feel comfortable with the larger size, so it seems like you have a couple covered :p  granted, everyone is different, but based on what you've said, i think you'll be fine.
