I have out grown my LED hoop, it is too heavy for me now and i am really interested in getting another one, what is a good website for light weight LED's?

The hoop i currently have is the 33" firefly from moodhoops, i find that it is too heavy now? im thinking maybe an astral hoop since they are made with polypro tubing instead of hdpe? im not sure though :p

Permalink Reply by Carly Roseanne on September 3, 2012 at 7:17pm Astral hoops are bad ass to look at and people LOVE them but I don't think they would be much lighter than a mood hoop and might even a bit more heavy considering it has a LOT more LEDs in it which will add weight. I don't know for sure, I've never used one. You can probably send in your current hoop back to mood hoops to get re-tubed in polypro I do know that!

The LEDs used in the AtomicPro are much different than MoodHoops. My AtomicPro polypro hoop (with 100 LEDs in it) is lighter than my custom polypro LED hoops that have only 24 LEDs.
Permalink Reply by Carly Roseanne on September 4, 2012 at 12:08am Ah that's good to know! I have been really hesitant towards smart hoops because I figured they would be heavier than my mood hoop and I just don't like too much weight but hell yeah! Oh god that makes me so excited!

I second the Astral Atomic Pro. Amazing, amazing hoop. I adore mine. <3 And it's soooo lightweight.
Permalink Reply by Alycia Betts on September 4, 2012 at 10:49am I have a 33 inch polypro sunrise led, and actually when I pick up my friends 36 inch hdpe the weight doesn't seem much different at all.
putting led's inside of a polypro change the weight drastically.

I love my Moodhoops LED!
Permalink Reply by Rita Avin Hoolerhooper on April 23, 2012 at 11:04am I think 33" is the smallest you can get from MH unless you are buying mini's, but I could be wrong. There may be a custom sizing option. MH also gives you the option of HDPE or Poly, but the poly is gonna cost you extra.
Permalink Reply by Carly Roseanne on September 3, 2012 at 7:21pm You can buy any of there hoops in 30 inch now! They have a remix page where you can customize the LEDs and pick 38, 36, 33, or 30 iches and now they have a full customization page where you can choose any LEDs, hoop and tubing diameter :D
