Hooper Appreciation
I’ve noticed in the general hooping community (not one place in particular) it seems we see and hear a lot about the same hoopers over and over. It’s great, don’t get me wrong; I love them but there are other hoopers out there not getting as much, if any, recognition for their skills. And it’s hard to be an unknown hooper, especially if you’re trying to perform or teach and make a name for yourself. I feel this pain and I know others do too.
SO! I came up with the Hooper Appreciation Thread – I was going to make it a month but honestly, we should appreciate each other all the time. In this thread you can post/embed a video of your favorite ‘under-rated’ hooper (‘under-rated’ meaning a hooper who is not widely known but who you think is amazing [Thx SaFire!]) and say why you love what this person is doing! Or if you want to share a story about another hooper saying why you appreciate them, go for it!
The point of this is to appreciate those of us who may not get a lot of attention from the general community, so please share. We all want to be applauded

Miss Hannah "Solace" Soleil, you make me smile! You are absolutely adorable, always so cheerful in your videos and smiley...You've done so well and you've only been hooping a short time! Your lines are beautiful, pointing your toes and really working your own style. I'm stuck in a loop with the hula hoop. When I was a little girl I was abused in every which way. Often I was grounded to my bedroom, with two bathroom visits and a dinner release. I haven't posted for a very long time, but I have something worth sharing. In the last couple of years, I have advanced enough to start teaching and I absolutley love my classes. All my students are wonderful its the most favorite part of my week.
