Hello, everyone. SaFire has graciously let me take over administration of the Flow Challenges group. She also wanted to make each challenge into a mini-contest, so we decided to make each month’s challenge into a raffle.

The raffles will work like this:

Your post about completing the challenge will be your entry into the raffle. The challenger for the month will also receive an entry for posting the challenge. One entry will be allowed per person. Video submissions are welcomed, but not required to be entered into the raffle. Entries will not be judged; if you submit a post about your experience with the challenge, you will be automatically entered into the raffle. A winner will be chosen at random and announced on the 2nd of the month following the challenge.

If you choose to submit a written post, please describe your experience with the challenge. Questions to consider are:

• Did you find the challenge difficult or easy?
• What did you like best about the challenge?
• What was the most difficult part of the challenge for you?
• Did you have a breakthrough while attempting the challenge? If not, why not?
• What advice would you give to someone attempting the challenge for the first time?

Challenge posts must be submitted by midnight Hoop City time (mountain time zone) on the last day of the month for the current challenge to be entered into the raffle, i.e. midnight on the 31^st of May for the May challenge, midnight on the 30^th of June for the June challenge, etc. If you would like to be the challenger for an upcoming month please reply to this discussion. Challengers will be picked in the order of posting.  If the challenge has not been posted by the 5^th of the current month, I will post a bonus challenge, clearly labeled, that will be used for the raffle so that everyone will have time to get their challenge postings submitted.

Future plans: I would like to have a grand prize raffle drawing at the end of the year for everyone who submitted an entry for every challenge by the deadline for the current year, starting in June 2011. I am working on the prize and rules and will post more information when I have it. So make sure you submit an entry before the deadline each month so you won’t miss out.
