Every time I hoop it makes me feel amazing. My boyfriend is irritated with me today over something pretty stupid, the way he was acting was making me not feel so great. So you know what I did, grabbed my hoop, and my ipod and went outside to hoop jam for a bit. It is a rainy day, been a light rain for a while, I hooped outside in the rain for quite a while. And it was amazing! The rain was so cooling and felt so good, had some great music in my headphones, and just jammed. I didn't come in until I was too wet to hold onto my hoop, it kept slipping. I felt so much better after such a freeing rainy hoop sesh. Hooping always makes me feel better in situations like these. It truly does work wonders, and type of dance can really make someone happy, and hoop dance just happens to be one of my favorites
I really feel the same. I've been nervous and depressed all week end. (I'm totally overwhelmed by this whole... 40 hour work week thing I just started doing and my job is only vaguely pleasant so its very draining).
Pulled out my hoop on Friday and jammed myself into a much better mood ala Baxter with a blindfold on. Saturday could have used hooping but I was too busy being crazy. : P
I don't hoop in the rain if I can avoid it though for the rain here is cold and very wet. You are a braver soul than I.
it is warm here in maryland, it was a nice refreshing summer rain, felt great to just get all wet and hoop until I just couldnt anymore
