:) I've also been quite unsure of a " hoop name"... alot of my friends call me Yaxel for years ( back when they decided to but a "y" in front of everyone's name for fun).. and I also get Jackie, jac, or Jax from close friends...
I was trying to pic something that sort of "fit", my personality a bit, -- but haven't had a lot of luck ;) Maybe going to hoop convergence will unlock some more creativness and hoop confidence ;)
For now? JaxieTwirl or Yaxel
Also been thinking about different names for my hoops when people want to find and purchase... I'm a paediatric nurse and see alot of amazing little souls fighting the battle with Cancer and chronic diseases-- brought the hoops into work and alot of nurses and patients wanted their own :) so I thought of calling them Hope Hoops ( or something fun and inspiring) and donating the profit to our local cancer society.... any ideas?? :)
LOve reading about everyone's names ;) Keep em coming ;)

I used this name as an online name and my personal email account for years before connecting it to my hooping persona. It is derived from the word:
ef·fer·ves·cent
Because I felt out of any word I had encountered I loved the sound and I loved what it represented, bubbly, (I have a very bubbly personality and have been told that by nearly everyone I've ever met) and sparkling. I mean who doesn't love bubbles in a glass of champagne for example? This name reminds me to be the child inside even on my darkest days. That no matter how much the world may get me down inside, I can still sparkle and shine and like evervescent bubbles I can RISE above it.
The word also have derivitives personal to me from essence, and forever. The original name I created was forevervescent. Evervescence just rolls of the tongue better. It is hard to spell though! I like using a capitol E and the beginning and the end of the name to sort of close it in (like a circle or a hoop) and I like having just one word, one name that sums me up. So this word- just works, and I can go by E.V. (pronounced Evie) for short since EvervescencE is a mouthful to say. :)

Been having a hard time with this one for a while. I know once you relax about these things the universe drops them into your lap. I am searching too hard.
I know one thing for certain. I want my name to have something to do with the Sun.
So far have been Aureole and now looking at Sunniva.
Enjoying that one but am going to sleep on it. Only rushing it because I want to get my business cards and website made.
Great discussion! :)
I'd been struggling to find something that fit , and was using a version of old nicknames etc that just didn't seem quite right. Then *voila. Just like that, there it was.....
*funk is something that has always been around in nicknames/avatars etc from my electronica dancing days.
*blossom is what my mother used to call me growing up (I used to hate it)
Somehow the two just seem to bridge my personality and style and just seem to fit. :)
