I made one from tubing that I bought at home depot. Just to have something simple to learn with, it cost me about 18 bucks for all the supplies and it came with enough tubing to make three hoops. I am just god awful at taping.
I'm looking for a pretty hoop. Hahaha.

I highly recommend moodhoops if you can't find a used one.  I got the ember which is only $94 including shipping. It's absolutely amazing and so so bright.
