This is a very fun and participatory TEDx talk by dance psychologist Peter Lovatt. You learn cool science and cool dance moves. Seriously. I kinda feel like my brain is blown open. I also had a really good time doing this. I was laughing. When it started, I wasn't so sure but it turned out to be a delight and I wish he'd had time to go on!

(Shoot! It won't let me embed. If that works for someone else, I would appreciate it if you'd post it.)

Here is an interview with him with even MORE interesting information!:

Thanx for sharing.

Very interesting

Thank you, thank you! I tried and tried to post it and it wouldn't work.

Here is a great article with even more information: http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2011/jul/31/peter-lovatt-dance...

That was fun!  I now understand why I am drawn toward divergent thinking, as I totally messed up the choreographed clapping and leg slapping portion of the talk.  :D

Of course, the "could be you" move so reminded me of you Caroleeena.

I'd love to see what he would do with a hoop.  I bet it would be fascinating with his dance and science sensibility coupled with his playful attitude.

It could be you. It could be you. It could be you. It could be you!

I am totally stealing that!

Neat!  This explains a lot...

Can't wait to try it out tonight! :D Thanks for the link!
