If you have a bluetooth connected device you can get a small wireless speaker like logitech or brookstone They come with a bluetooth connection so you can stream it from your laptop. There are a lot of wireless headphones on amazon so you can always check those out. I ruined a very expensive wired pair so I don't suggest that unless they are expendable. I myself ended up getting the rechargeable logitech with iphone port and it works perfectly for what I needed.

When I go out to the park I bring my boyfriend or a guy friend with me. I guess not all guys do this, but mine like to keep busy by playing instruments. My boyfriend plays either a guitar, sitar, or tablas for me while I hoop. Other guy friends generally bring other random hand drums or one time one of them brought a freaking upright bass! It was awesome but seriously over the top haha! If you ever try this I have to warn you though, it's really easy to get used to and then kind of hard to go back to hooping in a good rhythm to recorded music (like from a stereo). A lot of the time I think that an actual instrument is better than a stereo though; sometimes I feel like I'm feeding off of their creative energy or that we're jamming together. However you'd wanna explain that

i bought one of these, for only $30 so worth the price, all you need is your mp3 player or your phone, the sound it emits is surprising and its the size of an altoids container, literally you can  take it everywhere, no batteries or anything!

I have issues when I try to use my headphones and when I hoop in public I like to know if people are approaching.  I'm kinda paranoid like that.  I just turn the volume up all the way on my phone, start the playlist and tuck it in my sports bra.  Probably not the best choice, but it works for the time being.

I've had This Speaker for a couple of years & it gets constant use. I LOVE it, and if it dies- I'll get another just like it. Rechargeable, LOUD, plus you can hook pretty much anything up to it.

It is. I cannot express how much I love that thing- plus it was a holiday gift from the hubby. I'm too paranoid to hoop with headphone cause then I don't realize when ppl come up to me. Hoop tape sticks to it & you can make it just oh so pretty, lol. It charges USB & can hook anything to it- jump drive, sd card, anything aux (phone, ipod, cd player, laptop).

I used to do that too! Little tip- put the phone in a metal bowl & it amplifies the sound. It's like turning it into a mini amp, lol.

arriva headphones and a shuffle, throw a headband over them for extra security, and you cant even tell your wearing them! Best invention ever!!

The Music Bullet, it's not the best quality, but it's tiny and only $15 at Target. Also, blue tooth headphones are great as well.
