I've just started hula hooping and i'm finding I can hula hoop around my waist and around my legs really well with the heavy weighted hoop. But when I try it with the lighter dance hoop I can only do it around my waist and I can't seem to hoop it around my legs so it just falls to the floor. Is it just about getting use to the lighter dance hoop? Which ones do you recommend for beginners?
you will get more use to the lighter ones with more practice, and you might want to add more grip tape.
practice practice practice!
You may have to hoop faster with the lighter hoop as there isn't as much weight that it can gain momentum with.
