He's been posting on here about his new hoop. I can't find more information right now but I'm sure he'll get to it. (Craig of Proton Labs)

For the record, the Atomic Pro is awesome and worth the money. Not to mention Stef and B.j. are awesome. I also have the Fox Fire from Hoop Daddy. Jeremiah is the most helpful person I have ever dealt with for hoop customer service, he's even given me pointers and things for my own LED hoop building. So yes, the Phoenix isn't currently available but his other hoops are awesome too.

I have heard nothing but great things about Jeremiah (Hoop Daddy)!   And having seen his hoops in action, they are all beautiful and amazing, probably some of the absolute nicest I have seen!!

I got a hoop from Citiva Creationz on Etsy for $85 (that includes shipping). It came with a battery and charger, has slow changing rainblow LEDs and strobing LEDs and I love it.

www.hyperbolaonline.com Colleen made my custom LED and i'm in love with it. definitely something to check out

i got my LED hula hoop at Trick Concepts well a web site called The Spinsterz most amazing LED hula hoop ive ever layed eyes on its rainbow colour changeing and also slow fading they are from Bend Oregen and its 110.00 with shipping and they ship to anywhere in the world, it comes with a battery and charger and the batterys last for 4 hours so i ordered an extra one which is another $14.00 bucks. And it also has a one year warrenty!!

I had this hoop for over a year and kinked the tubing. its super heavy after you start to use smaller hoops you realize how big this hoop really is. I had a 36" the smallest size they had at the time and now currently I have a 33" lotus from moodhoops and the difference is mind blowing. this is a really pretty hoop and nice for beginners but not for intermediate to advanced hoopers.

I second Brittany's statement. I also have a Trick Concepts LED in 38" and while it's pretty and I get great battery life on it it is HEAVY. Really, really, heavy. Great for beginners (which I was when I bought it) but kind of a burden if you are Intermediate or Advanced.

I have Three hoops from BJ and Stef at Astral Hoops! I love love love them all! They are great to work with! And the Pro is by far the best. Check it out!! http://astralhoops.com/r/MissHaley ... Get 10$ off. ;-)

Hey I just used your referal code. If you order something from them again sometime use mine :) http://astralhoops.com/r/setarasitar

If you are looking for a hoop-daddy hoop, my fox fire just came in the mail yesterday and it's even more amazing than I anticipated! all the modes will definitely satisfy my add and need for different colors to match my mood!

Jeremiah has excellent customer service (I changed the specs of my order afterwards & he was very friendly and changed it without a problem) and very quick turnaround.  It only took 2 weeks from when I placed the order til it made it my doorstep :)

I was looking to get a phoenix hoop as well, but since they are backordered I started checking out the Proton hoop that Victoria mentioned below. It seems awesome, but it is not actually available just yet for ordering. I currently have an LED Warp Hoop by Astral Hoops that I am trying to sell. It has four modes (solid red, solid blue, solid green, and the coolest mode which is a strobing of all three that actually looks white when still, but looks almost like three hoops in motion). If you would be interested in purchasing it from me, I am only trying to get around $100 for it... I'm not sure if you would be interested in a used hoop, but I assure you its a great hoop and in good condition. If you are interested my email is kellyvanbomel@gmail.com and I would be able to send it out ASAP. Good luck on your hunt!

Thanks for the mention guys!  The Proton hoop is indeed almost ready to order.  I've taken steps to ensure everything is PayPal business certified which gives buyers some extra protection but has added some days to the site launch.  Also, because the demand has already been so high, I've also been taking a conservative approach to launch and stockpiling *tons* of supplies beforehand to ensure prompt construction and delivery time frames.

That said, the site with all of the information is complete and I expect orders may be possible later this week.

Some quick specs for the hoop (some of which previously unannounced) include:

  • 256 Visual Patterns (Some are classics, some are *very* unique)
  • Millions of Colors
  • 3 Types of Energy-Driven Random Functions
  • Customizable BPM Synchronized Random Changes
  • 3/4" PolyPro, 3/4" HDPE, 7/8" HDPE Available
  • Electronically Embedded Serial Number in Every Hoop
  • Custom Software to Change Colors, Speed, etc of EVERY Pattern Preset
  • Ability to Share Custom Settings With Friends
  • Lithium Battery Tech
  • One Year Warranty

I'm still on target to start shipments in April and the first 100 orders get pricing at $349. It is worth the wait, I promise :)
