I am curious. Here is a little poll if you will all participate. When you refer to hoop diameter are you talking about inner or outer diameter?

agreed! what might be advertised as a 37" inch hoop could really be a 39 or a 35. YIKES. I go by inner, because you dont actually hoop with the outside of the hoop.
I've been going by inner for awhile because that's the part I'm hooping with - if it's 38" inner diameter then it's still a 38" hoop if it's 1/2", 3/4", 1" tubing still same size to my body.

I have started to realize that many people are talking about the outside so when selling hoops I always have to specify. Thanks for taking part everyone.

I think in circumference when I am making them but when I talk to customers they don't know what the heck I mean. I do love me a pair of 108s though.
