International Flying/Trains with Infiniti Hoop: Europe

I was looking through previous discussions but I thought I would post anyhow!  I'll be flying from the states to Belgium, and then on a variety of flights and trains in Belgium, Germany, Britain and Ireland for two months of the summer.  Most international flight experiences seemed to be North and South American and I am looking for the European flight experienced hooper.

I have a collapsing infinity hoop, and I am very paranoid about losing it.  It's my only collapsing hoop and is my precious of my hoops.  I know I will be dealing with flybe on a flight and my experience with them has no been the best.  ::shakes fist:: Damn you flybe!

Has anyone had any issues or have any advice to give about totting my hoop around?  I would hate to have to leave it behind.

I had the same worries flying from San Francisco to London, but had no problem. I attached my collapsible infinity hoop to my carry-on backpack and it was totally fine. Not only was it fine, but the airline employees loved it and the hoop brought many smiles. :)

Good luck!! I think (and hope) you'll be fine.
I was hopping I could do just what you did. I'm sure you understand about the worry of having your hoop taken. Thanks!
I brought my infinity on a plane from toronto, to miami, to san jose costa rica, and then on a commuter plane. All was okay! I placed it in a large cloth bag as well. It fit in the overhead carriors on the plane.
