I'm not sure if they allow you to wrap it with bubbles and send without packing them in the box. If they do, It'll be cheaper this way because the space has been reduced. They allow to pack like that for shipping domestically, but for internaially, I'm not sure about it. I think you better ask the post office for the advice. Cheers!

I recently sold a collapsible 40" 100psi hoop to a woman in Australia and shipping was about $30.  Was the price you were quoted more than this?

Was it in a box? I also have a hoop to ship to Australia and I usually wrap the whole thing in bubble wrap & brown paper....at the USPS they go by weight so shipping is usually under $10, but I'm not sure if it will be the same for international shipping and mine aren't collapsible! Anybody know for sure?
