I've only been hooping a few months, so forgive me if this is obvious. I messed up while trying to do that bow trick. But then I kinda rescued it because my arm got trapped. Is this an actual trick that I stumbled on? Could it look better?

hahah you can make anything a "trick", but I have not seen this before not saying it doesn't have a name. It looks like a over head weave, then your hand switches from outside grip to inside then break and reverse the current of the hoop. So I guess you could call it the over head weave reversal lol or over head weave break, whatever you want to call it. You could even make a tutorial if you wanted, looks like a fun move.

Like Martika pointed out, it looks like what we would call a break and reversal. Your hoop (while in lasso position) stopped (or "breaked"), then switched direction (or current, as Martika called it).  Happy hooping!

Thanks so much! I think I'll watch it again and try to figure out what you two pointed out (the movement of the hand from inside to outside, when it "broke" haha). I tried it a couple more times after and couldn't figure it out!
