Hey everyone,

I love my DJ Poptart mixes but my other favorite way to get into my flow is to cruise the radio stations on Itunes and pick something. I realised yesterday that I have gotten into a bit of a rut: For a few years now I have been faithfully tuning into Radio Danz ( awesome dance music), Chilltrax ( RD's sister station for downtempo), M2 Lounge & Christmas Lounge during the holidays.

So for fun, I just scrolled down and hit on Dubterrain.net after watching some of the flow sequences on Hoop Technique and it was soo much fun to get off to something new. I also love the idea of tuning into a station being programmed from Estonia or wherever.

So if anyone else uses Itunes Radio, what are some of your favorite/cool stations you have discovered?

Secret Agent Radio! Lounge, "spy music", both modern and vintage, with the occasional spy movie dialogue cut in. NJ Tamil Radio (under International) is classic Indian and bhangra music. Lush FM is mellow electronica and chill, and HealingMusicRadio for when I'm really frazzled. I was able to set up a playlist of my favorites, and with a little tweaking they display the content and everything.

Oh man! I forgot about Secret Agent Radio. Thanks for the tip about NJ Tamil Radio...

Is there a way to get itunes radio on the iphone?

This sounds really cool..no idea iTunes had a radio thing. Is it like Pandora? And do you have to pay for it? Ha, it's barely halfway through the month and I've used almost all of my free Pandora hours..I need an alternative!

If you do Pandora though, I highly recommend the Phish station. You get everything from Phish, Moe., Umphrey's, etc to the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix and classic rock, and also some reggae and blues thrown in. It's like the station of my dreams!

If you have itunes it's included as a free feature. Just look on the left side of the screen where stuff like podcasts, music & movies are listed.

I have not had good luck with Pandora, I think my search terms were too specific & eclectic. I think that's how I found the Itunes radio option, actually... I was looking for streaming radio stations and had struck out with Pandora.

Anyone have a good suggestion for a jam band station? NJ Tamil is awesome btw! I love having something different to hoop and chill to. Thanks for bringing this up shimarella!
