I hav a friend from high school that recently found me on facebook and saw that i liked hooping and electronic music. She came over and she was telling me how much she loved dubstep. I was like well hav you ever listened to drum n bass [me being a drum n bass freak], house or trance? she said no I like dubstep. thats all she wants to listen to when she comes over. don't get me wrong. I do love my dirty dubstep. I just don't want to listen to it 24/7 and she isn't willing to listen to anything else.

I was wondering if any of you had friends like that?

i have way to many friends that listen to dubstep all day. it kills me.. suggest to her some dub.. its all the awsomenees of dubstep with out the obnoxious repetitve loud pig noises hah.
try and show her drum step without actually telling her what it is ;)
ya i do enjoy my drumstep. i might do that. :]
its very similar so maybe that could broaden her music likes/dislikes.
Some people just don't like change though. goodluck!
thanks. ya she wants to come over today. so hopefully i can.
HA.. i have friends that completely hate dubstep! me, i like a lot of different genres, so i wouldn't have a problem with a randomized playlist set up. ask your friend to compromise. =P

maybe some dirty electro would do the trick?
She should be more open-minded. I'm sure you could turn her on to some music she would fall in love with if she would just let you.

I do know many people like this though. Especially when I'm riding with someone in my car (or theirs). It's annoying when you get that one person that needs a ride but as soon as they get in the car they change the radio or pop in a CD without even asking! Grrrrrr. That makes me mad, lol.
ya that would make me mad. when my friend came over yesterday i was downloading a mc chris album. not electronic at all and she asked if i could change it to dubstep. i told her no since i was downloading a album. so she got on my other friends laptop that she had left at my house and started playing dubstep over my music.
WOW. um...that's really all I have to say to that.
How rude...
wow...I think I would have told her that she either needs to turn it off or go find somewhere else to listing to it.
I like dubstep but I don't like drum and bass... perhaps she has listened to some before and didn't like it. Oh and considering it's your house you should have control over what music you listen to, I would point that out to her.
