I have just started to use my LED hoop, but have discovered that the thing makes me even more disoriented than regular hooping.  I tend to be a little sensitive to excessive spinning (and motion sickeness altogether), but the LED hoop left me feeling a little 'off.'  I think it's the hypnotizing lights, and being in darkness and not feeling grounded because I can' see the floor.  Anyway, I know it will take practice to get used to it.  Has anyone else felt slightly hoop intoxicated after spinning an LED?  I drove home afterwords, and was playing out this scene in my head about getting pulled over by a cop.  'No Officer, I haven't been drinking... BUT I was spinning in the darkness with an LED hoop!'

Perhaps try hooping with your eyes closed to get a good feel for it? And that way when you can't see the ground it might not be a problem?
Wear some sun glasses maybe
My first LED hoop made me feel like a bug and made my head woozy...kind of like that feeling I get when I've been in front of the computer screen too long in a dark room. I did get use to it after time. However, when I bought my own LED (the 1st was an extended loan from a friend) I chose solid rather than blinking lights and that made a monumental difference.
Does it have 3d lights? when I got my PSI hoop, sometimes I had to turn the circuit with the 3ds off because they hurt my head after using for a while. But, I've gotten used to it, I am sure you will too :)
Don't look at the lights, keep your gaze beyond the hoop into the distance while you spin. Also as with most things, the more you do it the more you'll get used to it.
