honestly, my friend and i are so obsessed with our l.e.d's we take them almost anywhere.  anytime we get bored or excited, out comes our hoops. some people don't like when people hoop in a small or crowded space so we make sure to scope the crowd out before we start hooping.  the best place to practice is the backyard, in the living room, or in a park that isn't regulated at night. good luck!!

I have had two barbecue/hoop parties this year since getting my LED. That's when I bust it out. Nothing gets people interested in hooping like an LED haha.
I also take it to the gym I practice at, ita a little different tubing than my day hoop so I like to practice with both whenever I can.
Also I plan on doing an LED photo shoot soon :D eeeee!

My friends and I like to go to our university at night. There's a big green field right in the middle of the campus, lots of open space, so we can just hoop it up in the middle and not worry about being in anyone's way. At the same time, there's still night students around so every now and then we'll meet a curious spectator and eventually convert them to hooping ;D

I'm looking for parks in my neighborhood that don't have closed gates at gate, thanks for all the great suggestions!

I normally just hoop in my parking lot, but I've hooped at a lighting display in a park and at a local festival, too.  They have lots of festivals in Japan.  The hard part is finding a place that people won't walk into you.

make your own place... my girl friends and I get together in a park or something of that sort once a week and once a month we throw a hoop jam where we talked a local bar into booking bands and letting us fire hoop all night.  if there is nothing happening make it happen!
