I'm really interested in making light up clothing for myself using EL Wire. I have never used this before, and right now it's at a stage of ideas floating around in my head.
I just purchased some, and it seems easy enough to use, but I really would like to use it on clothing to wear while hooping. So, I'm wondering if anybody has used clothing with EL Wire while hooping, or has any ideas on how well it will hold up, especially if it's on a top, where the hoop may be hitting it a lot? Are there certain fabrics I should stay away from, that the EL Wire might not hold up as well on?

I was planning on outlining and making designs on a zip-up hoodie, but quickly stopped myself, because I think that would get too warm, and I would quickly take it off, so now I'm unsure of what I'm going to do. I've seen it used on bras a lot, but am looking for something less revealing than that.

Any insight or links on this would be greatly appreciated, as would any ideas for what to use it on. Thanks!
