I scanned through the discussions and didn't see this specific thread already, if its out there and I'm being redundant I apologize. I'm currently looking(and by looking I mean beating my head against a brick wall) for LIGHTWEIGHT fire hoops. The first on I bought from BearClaw, as great as it was, was SO heavy! CosmicFireDance.com has a special lightweight one with only 5 wicks, I've emailed them through their website as WELL as even through their eBay distributer AND left phone messages with them asking about a 6 wicked custom hoop and I guess they don't feel it important to respond to potential customers because I've been trying to get a hold of a LIVING PERSON of theirs for weeks and no reply back. I wonder if its even a real site. :( I wont send my credit card info to someone thats given me this much doubt that there's even people on the other end so now my search is back on.
Anyone know where to go for a lightweight(2pds or less) fire hoop? Too bad about CosmicFire not caring...their hoops looked nice. :(

hmmm. i'm very sorry to hear about your luck with cosmicfire! They responded to me right away and I could not be happier with my featherlight 2"! I hope you get in touch with them soon because their hoops are amazing! I have also heard good things about hoop drum (basically the same design). Best of luck!!
ditto, I had a great experience ordering from mine from them - I had to e-mail a few times over the ordering process and messages were replied to very promptly - I got the same hoop, (featherlight 2") and it is SUPER light. I did not try to customize it, though. I would try again.
I have a cosmic fire hoop.. I had trouble contacting them before hand with a question, too. That is very strange though you have tried for weeks : ( not sure what is going on..either way it isn't good customer service. I have a featherlight.. it may be relatively light, but it still feels like a 160psi hoop (pretty heavy and hard to find flow with in my opinion). I'm looking to get a lighter one too. They have other options, the magic pro and the newer ninja which are both way lighter I am sure. Hoopdrum.com also makes a 100psi fire hoop.. it looks like it has no tape, so it should be pretty light.

I hope things get easier for you!

I think cosmic fire has a facebook account.. you could try contacting them via that (if you have an account).
I know Caroleeena makes her own fire hoops for that very reason. You might try contacting her to see how she does it:

Hoopdrum!! light,light awsome hoops!!
I second that! Hoop Drum (Jewels) and Cosmic Hoops are very similar (although Shatki is releasing a new model soon that is supposed to be revolutionary)
Shakti Sunfire's hoops are amazing. you won't regreit it! Amazing price as well!
I was finally able to reach someone at Cosmic and were were able to communicate about my questions finally. They apologized for the delay...old info still posted on the site apparently..
So, wait...Shakti = CosmicFireDance? The images are identical. I'm still learning the who's who on hoop merch. :) Ive see the exact Cosmic Fire Hoop images being sold on 3 completely different sites..
I noticed the same thing today regarding the images. Perhaps Cosmic Fire is another Kaivalya hoop dancer?? Weird. @_@
yes, Shakti = Cosmic Fire Dance
(she's involved with Kaivalya)
