Anyone have a lead for me?  I'm looking for a pretty specific LED hoop with these sorts of specs:

  • Push button connection
  • Can break down into 2 minis
  • Made from 3/8" or 1/2" Polypro or PPE
  • Would prefer rechargeable

Hi there, check out the LED hoop forum & FAQ. It will take just a little bit of time on your part to read through the FAQ but it will probably answer all your questions. If not, the LED hoop forum is the best place to ask :)

Good luck and have fun exploring!

i just got my new twin leds from hoops of creation and let me tell you they are freaking aammaazing.. they are made of 5/8od polypro tubing... extremely lgiht weight... they weight about as much as my 3/4od polypros the hoops are all custom you can choose any size color or number of leds.. they have multiple circuit ones too!! im not sure if they have any that break into two minis.. but check them out.. they are all about customizing and love new ideas!! My boyfriend is acctually making their web site now.... il post the link when its up and running for now check out their facebook ! www.facebook.com/hoopsofcreation1

how much did you pay for your hoops from hoops of creation? they are awesome...

erica if you go to their page they have pricing up in their notes section. they do custom hoops so its all depends on what you are looking for in a hoop for the cost but the people are beautiful and they always wanna help! they also offer discounts on twins!
i just recently purchased my very own hoops of creation hoop. should be arriving soon and i really cant wait!
Stephen Pemberton of LED Creations (on etsy) does combinable minis for a decent price. http://www.etsy.com/listing/57008827/rechargeable-convertible-led-h...

Cosmic Rob of Cosmic Hooper offers them as well http://cosmichooper.com/

My niece Hannah has a nice one that is very much as you have described from Cosmic Hooper. I have one of their hoops too but I have found mine a little unbalanced because of the weight of the battery being on one side. Hannah's is perfectly balanced because it has batteries opposite each other because it can be broken down into minis. The colours are beautiful and it is very light.

Try contacting them and asking them. Hannah's hoop was a custom order.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!  I'll check them all out and research with is the best option for me.  I knew you guys could point me in the right direction! :D
Cosmic Hooper can make it for you if you special order it with that type of tubing.  He makes a hoop that breaks down into minis.  I have one. :)
I dont have a polypro hoop myself so I may be wrong on this, but my understanding is that PPE is stiffer than HDPE, so just be careful if you get a polypro that breaks down into minis. There are many of us that have had issues with the tubing crackign on the cosmic hooper transformer hoops. Hopefully it wont be an issue, but if you're using a stiffer tubing, just be aware of how small your minis are, you wouldn't want a crack.
Well, I went with a Cosmic Hoop!  Can't wait to get it.  6-weeks of waiting!
