Making / decorating hoops for kids
I don't quite know where this idea came from, but I can't wait to try it out.
Soooo, Pearl Swirl is this metallic substance that traces currents when mixed into a liquid, e.g. the pearly stuff in shampoos and slime toys. And I was thinking, how awesome would that look inside a hoop? I see a lot of water-filled ones at Toys R Us, so yeah.
Alternately, mixing water, glitter, sequins, and corn syrup (to slow down the confetti) would look awesome, too, even if in a poi pendulum, twirling baton, etc.
I remember hoops made of clear tubing from when I was a little kid, and if I could find some slightly smaller OD tubing to fit inside as a connector, then tightly tape it shut, that would make an aaaahhmazing Christmas present (and so inexpensive) for some small children I know.
:3 That's all. I had to put that out there. If anyone has other ideas for making similar flow toys, those would be greatly appreciated as well.

I thought about doing the same thing, too! LoL but I don't know where to get that fluid unless you broke open a bunch of those things and poured them into a hoop.

Voila! One concentrated bottle makes > 7L, which I'm sure is more than enough for a hoop. ;)

I used to make "swirly bottles" with my 2nd graders at school. There's a particular soap that has the pearly stuff. That added slowly (so no bubbles) to colored water gave the liquid a swirly affect. I don't think that would work in a hoop though. The tube would have to be completely filled with liquid and I think that'd be too heavy!
